Could be that they really take it serious and want to establish a good game that hits in the West. If that is succesful, mobile games have a better chance to land.

I also have the feeling that they are very keen to make it right. Was a bit afraid the pioneer test is only a marketing tool; but they really seem to be worried about a great end game experience. Let’s see whats happening.
